My first thoughts of this ePortfolio thing is that it was going to be dumb and a waste of my time.  Then I got to realize how cool it actually was.  There are so many things you can do with the ePortfolio.  It allows you to start a resume for your whole college career.  I believe that the interface does have a downside.  The downside to just typing is that it is getting rid of face to face communication.  Everybody nowadays is texting to talk to someone instead of calling someone and having a real conversation with them.

Yes the ePortfolio does allow you to do things possible that a pen and paper do not.  One thing is when I am done writing this paragraph anyone in the entire world will be able to see this post, but if I was to write it out on paper it would’t just be out there in cyberworld.  Throughout this changing world with technology where we are all going to our devices to complete work I have my positive and negatives about the digital technology.  A negative thing is that I like to be able to feel the textbook, that is the way that I would rather learn something instead of it being on the Internet.  But there is a positive that I have.  Not having that 5 pound textbook in your bag for your bio class and that other 5 pound textbook in your backpack and just using your laptop that maybe weighs 14 ounces if that and has all my textbooks on it.
