Ever since the first day I was born I always had a lacrosse stick in my hand.  I always liked to throw the ball around with my older cousin but, I never played in an actual game until I was in the seventh grade when I decided to try it.  At first when I played in my first game I played attack.  I was always good at shooting and passing and all the things you need to be good at to play attack but I realized that we didn’t have a goalie.  So, I then told the coach, which happened to be my dad, that I wanted to play goalie.  From that point on I was always striving to do better.  I was always bad at saving low bouncing shots.  I never stepped out to attack the ball, I always let the ball attack me.  So when I would go to my goalie lessons who was my summer league coach, I would always make him shoot low so I can keep practicing them.  And by the time it came to my senior year I was saving 65% of all the shots that were shot down low.  That was a big step for me.
