The three texts that I will be using are Sam Anderson’s “In Defense of Distraction” and Richard Restak’s “Attention Deficit: The Brain Syndrome of Our Era”.  My argument for this paper is that the wealth of constant information weakens the minds of the young people.  Due to technology advancing in this world now a days, our brains are becoming filled with so much information that we are messing up more then the generation before us before us.  Before all this new technology in the previous generations they were not as our lives are right now.  Our brains have been studied and have showed that they are changing until the age of 25.  Multitasking is also weakening the minds of the young people because we are so busy with all the work that we have to do that we try to do multiple things at one time and in reality it is not good for your mind.
